Heating, Ventilation, and A/C regulations being enforced by HOA are nonsense

I have consistently been a guy who plays by the rules.

In fact, I have taken great pride in our ethics and fair play. Yet, when the rules get applied disproportionately or unfairly, I tend to get pretty fired up. I just can never stand it whenever there are special favors given to some while others face dire penalties. It just strikes me at the very core of our being. The recent HOA situation regarding Heating, Ventilation, and A/C regulations is a perfect example. I don’t go looking for trouble. But when it’s brought to our door, I can’t ignore it either. Lately, the HOA in our planned community is making our life a lot more difficult and it’s all about their rules. I have gained some rather nasty warning messages from them concerning our Heating, Ventilation, and A/C. That was not a great start. This hostile language over and Heating, Ventilation, and A/C issue seems pretty deranged to me. The concern appears to be that I am replacing a single one of our hedges and the Heating, Ventilation, and A/C is temporarily visible. It won’t be any sort of concern for a few short months once the new hedge grows in a bit. But the HOA wants me to put up a new fence until the hedge grows in. I told them in no unparticular terms that this will never happen. I even went so far as to photograph every HOA board members home. Half of them had their Heating, Ventilation, and A/C clearly visible from the road. That is simply egregious that these jerks are threatening me when they aren’t in compliance. If I get another letter, I’m simply turning the matter over to our fiance. She’s a defense lawyer who eats punks such as these for a light snack.
