It takes between 4 to 8 hours to install a new HVAC unit

After 20 years of having the same A/C unit, I finally needed to replace it.

The unit still worked, but over the years, it had lost efficiency. In fact, I kept seeing a steady increase in my energy usage and my HVAC technician believed it was because of the age of the unit. And with the current temperatures constantly increasing, it just makes sense to cut ties and get a better system. So, I decided to upgrade to a more energy efficient model. My HVAC technician Kevin was a huge help when it came to finding a replacement A/C. Of course, he did the installation for me. This was my first time having a new HVAC unit installed in my home, so I didn’t know how long it would take to complete the installation. Kevin estimated that if all went well the installation would take between 4 and 8 hours. But of course, weather can be a factor and cause delays as well as there can be issues in removing the old unit that could potentially slow him down. I took off work that day, so that I could be home during the process. And I was quite shocked at how quickly Kevin and his crew were able to remove the old unit and install the new one. By 2 p.m. that day they were done and were getting ready to leave and sure enough the clouds began to move in for the rain. Anyway, he tested everything, and the new HVAC system worked fine. He mentioned that if I noticed anything strange that I should give him a call. But since that day, the new unit has been running as it should.
