A party to celebrate the newest air conditioning technician in town

When my parents died in a car accident when I was 22 years old, my brother and I were devastated.

I had just finished college and my brother was a senior in high school.

Since we had no other family, I had to raise my brother. I had studied culinary and fortunately got a job at a restaurant. Though I was not getting a good salary, it was enough to keep my brother and me comfortable. When he graduated high school, he joined the college as he wanted to work in the cooling industry. I continued working at the restaurant and had my brother live with me to save up the everyday cost of living. He would do air conditioning repairs on our multi-split air conditioning unit. Even though he was still studying, the a/c servicemen jobs he did on our quality air conditioner gave him an experience and a platform to learn more about air conditioning faster than his classmates. Besides providing him with a platform to practice, we also benefited from getting free HVAC maintenance and thermostat checkups as well as maintaining air quality throughout the year. He also assisted the air conditioning provider when he was doing the HVAC installation at the house two summers ago. When he finally graduated as a certified and qualified air conditioning technician, I was the proudest guardian in the crowd. I threw him a surprise party that day and invited all his friends including the professionals from the air conditioning company downtown. When toasting, one of the senior specialists offered him a job at the indoor comfort business. That was the proudest moment. I cried so much, from the joy, that my eyes were so swollen the next morning.
