If you don’t understand how you give and receive affection, it’s rather difficult to have a compatible relationship with somebody else. This is why I thought it was important for me to test my own personality and figure out what my exact preferences were. I guess it’s no surprise, acts of service came out as my number one interest. I can tell you for a fact that this is true, especially after my boyfriend repaired my air conditioning unit last week. You see, I am a bit of a difficult sleeper. I require the perfect environmental conditions including tons of background noise and Ice Cold air temperatures to fall asleep. This means I rely very heavily on my air conditioning unit and a large box fan to keep my environmental conditions in line with my preferred sleep preferences. My boyfriend was staying over one night when I noticed that the indoor air temperature seemed to be climbing through the roof. At first, I didn’t realize that it was my indoor air handling device because the AC unit was still running in the background. As we determined that the air conditioning unit was not producing any cold air, however, I started to freak out. That’s when my boyfriend went outside and messed with the AC unit until it started working again. I swear to God, as I drifted back to sleep, I fell in love that night.
