Living in the country totally has its perks.
For example: you can’t actually hear or see your neighbors.
It is honestly quiet, and it is honestly peaceful. Don’t get me started on the superb beauty either. However, living in the country also has its drawbacks. For one thing, it takes a long while to get service done of any kind… That is if you can even locate a service company that is willing to make the drive. Additionally, wild animals are pretty much always causing serious concerns. I truly can’t have a garden at all because of the deer all over the place. Squirrels chewed through my roof this past year. Then, last week, I woke up to the sound of animals easily fighting. It sounded pretty much like mid sized animals; nothing too oversized. I was proven right a minute later when an exhausting stench entered my dwelling. So at least one of the animals was a skunk. As I lay in bed I was thinking that a skunk outdoors shouldn’t smell horrible like this. The smell got worse and worse. Then the a/c appliance kicked on and it smelled basically like the skunk was in the dwelling. I knew it wasn’t. I hastily got up and turned off the a/c appliance but that didn’t help, and my dwelling smelled so horrible. I couldn’t go back to sleep. Later in the day I went under my dwelling to see if I could find out why the smell had gotten so horrible. Sure enough, something had chewed multiple holes in our HVAC duct under the dwelling. So the smell was just blowing straight in, great! Now I need to see if I can find an HVAC company to come out and repair my HVAC duct. I should entirely pay for a relaxing HVAC duct cleaning while I’m at it too.
