So the smell was just blowing straight in! Now I need to see if I can find a Heating and Air Conditioning contractor to come out and repair my HVAC duct
Living in the country certainly has its perks. For instance: you can’t hear or see your neighbors, it is really quiet, and it is especially peaceful! Don’t get me started on the beauty either! However, living in the country also has its downsides. For starters, it takes a long while to get service done of any kind, however that is if you can even find a service contractor that is willing to make the drive. Additionally, wild pets are pretty much always causing problems. I can’t have a garden at all because of the deer. Squirrels chewed through my roof last year. Then, last week, I woke up to the sound of animals actually fighting. It sounded sort of like mid sized animals; nothing too big. I was proven right a little while later when a terrible stench entered my household. So at least one of the animals was a skunk. As I rested in bed I began thinking that a skunk outdoors shouldn’t smell so terrible. The smell got worse and worse. Then the air conditioning device kicked on and it smelled as if the skunk was in the household. I knew it wasn’t. I hastily got up and turned off the air conditioning device but that didn’t help, and my home smelled so bad. I couldn’t go back to sleep. In the afternoon I went under my household to see if I could find out why the smell had become so terrible. Sure enough, something had chewed several holes in our HVAC duct under the house. So the smell was just blowing straight in! Now I need to see if I can find a Heating and Air Conditioning contractor to come out and repair my HVAC duct. I should legitimately go for a wonderful air duct cleaning while I’m at it too.
