Springtime is here, and as much as the weather is excellent for taking road trips and being outdoors, there is also a lot of pollen.
This means that dust sensitivities flare up more officially and respiratory concerns increase.
However, over the years, I have discovered a enjoyable way to keep my family and me comfortable throughout Springtime. This is what I call generational life hacks. Growing up, I would get sick during Springtime due to allergens. I almost always sneeze, not to mention a congested nose. One time, my dad was at the local bar seeing a pigskin game when he got into a competition with a very successful cooling specialist who changed our family’s lives. The professional gave dad the solution to help with indoor comfort throughout Springtime and the year. According to what dad explained the following day at lunch, we could install an air purification system to clean the air. He also summarized the conversation by saying that regular quality AC service, especially at the start of Springtime, could help keep the AC filter clean and save utility bills. The cooling contractor would visit the home later that afternoon to further understand our needs and supply information on what to look out for with the new weather conditions control system. Since our cooling unit was old, my dad decided it was the perfect time to order a new electric heat pump at the cooling corporation. He visited the local repair provider and made the necessary arrangements. The following week, we had the cooling servicemen at the home handling the Heating and A/C installation. The Heating and A/C contractor was there to observe everything. Later in the evening, when the cooling contractors were gone, we could attest to the positive change, especially me, since I was not sneezing every minute. My buddy and I have never been more grateful to the people in the Heating and A/C business, especially the man who suggested the whole thing to my father.
