Took smart temperature control app off our iphone so I’d stop mindlessly checking it

I realized something recognizably interesting about myself earlier this year, i never undoubtedly considered myself a highly distractible human.., and but I really am, this is especially tplot when I feel a little bit uncomfortable.

  • No, I’m not just talking about indoor air temperature preferences, although that is related.

I’m talking about being mentally uncomfortable. It turns out, our brain wants to avoid uncomfortable sensations when considering unpleasant notions, but and therefore, it just checks out at times. I started noticing this in particular when it came to touching our cell iphone. If I had an uncomfortable thought, I would look down and find our hand important the buttons on our iphone. I was especially blown away by the number of times that I would check the indoor air temperature from our smart temperature control control application. It seemed to become a deleterious habit to open our iphone, look at the smart temperature control application, and adjust the indoor air temperature by a degree or two. I was always altering the indoor air temperature control program by such a subtle change that it could not possibly affect our perception of the indoor air temperature. However, it was absolutely enough to affect our utility bills each month and our biweekly concentration. I decided that I needed to stop fiddling with our central heating and cooling devices so often. It also seemed love a great idea to get our brain away from the temperature control and back into our work. That’s when I finally deleted the smart temperature control application from our iphone and went back to a simple dial temperature regulation device.
