We almost got sued by an HVAC customer

When I started this place about a decade ago, the man who had also run a successful supplier before selling it, gave me advice that still drives me to this today.

  • He said that your shoppers might make or break your supplier plus all of us should always remember that the customer is king! I have taken heed of this advice throughout our business run.

We have a new apprentice program at the supplier plus it is not unregular to employ newbies as all of us get a chance to train them. The mistake was assigning a high-end job of purchasing then installing a new Heating plus A/C method at a new customer’s residence. The tech obtained commercial methods for a residential house plus a digital control device to replace the dial control unit. The manager only observed this when he was about to help with the replacement as the customer wanted a ductless Heating plus A/C system. This major mistake caused the team to lose overpriced hours plus made the customer certainly irate. The manager was able to quickly rectify the situation plus provide help with indoor comfort.
