When I came home on Monday evening after working, the first thing I noticed was that we had a new addition to our home. It was a new kind of thermostat for heating and cooling. My husband must have had it installed after all. It did surprise me because while we had considered upgrading our thermostat to that of a smart HVAC. It was a future plan, I looked at it and checked it out, however I was a little unhappy that he had not come and told me about it first. When he did arrive home I was waiting for him. I asked him if he could explain to me the brand new thermostat on our wall. I wasn’t angry but I did want an explanation. That is when he got all excited and told me about the amazing sale they were having down at the local heating and a/c company. He told me that the discounts were so good that they were practically giving them away! Unfortunately, for this particular heating and air conditioning cooperation, they were going out of business and so they were getting rid of everything as quickly as possible. When he showed me the receipt I understood why he bought it without asking me. I wouldn’t have been able to answer and he had to get it before it was gone. He told me he had already contacted another heating and a/c business and they would be installing it for us. We were both very happy about it and couldn’t wait to see the smart HVAC replacing the dial thermostat.
